Romanian straps

Hello dear friends! I want to present to you the next item with the Romanian position of the battle of Odessa. It is stitched with metal thread chevron on the shoulder straps. As far as I know these were sergeants and plutoniry. On this occasion, I have a few questions:
1. The width of the chevron 20 mm - it is wide or narrow chevron?
2. From the rear of a strip of black wool, it can be assumed that the strap belonged to the artillery as the color of the Romanian army artillery black? Thank you.

You are right. The metal thread or metal stamped stripes were used for sergeants and "plutonieri" (feldwebel). The thick ones were 20 mm in width, while the narrow ones were 13 mm in width. A thick one was for "sergent"(unter-offizer, serjant, sergeant,) a thick and a narrow one for "sergent-major" (unterfeldwebel, starshi serjant, staff sergeant), two thick stripes for "plutonier"(feldwebel, starshina, sergeant first class), two thick and a narrow one for "plutonier-major"(oberfeldwebel, praporshik, master sergeant), and three ones in an angle facing the collar for "plutonier-adjutant" (stabsfeldwebel, starshi praporshik, sergeant major)
The ones that were made in cotton or woolen cloth were one for "fruntas" (gefreiter, yefreitor, private first-class) and two for "caporal" (kaporal, mladi-serjant, corporal).
Black was used on the stripes for artillery, engineers or specialist troops.
